Election Map

Election Activity Map

A zoomable map of where election-related claims are being filed across the country. Start at the state level and drill into counties. The map shades and raises each region by the metric you choose — so you can read the landscape the way that makes sense to you.

The metric is your choice. This map shows reported activity, not wrongdoing or any verdict. Raw counts, per-capita, and a composite are all offered on equal footing — The Unredacted Project imposes no single lens. A higher region means more claims were filed there under the metric you picked, nothing more.

Color & height

Each region is tinted on a cool→warm scale and raised as 3D terrain on the map. Cooler/flatter means less activity; warmer/taller means more — both encode the same chosen metric.

Choose the metric

Use the metric toggle to switch between raw counts, per-capita (adjusted for population), and a composite. Your choice is remembered for next time.

Drill in

Click a state to zoom into its counties and local contests, then back out again. Detail loads on demand; anything without map geometry still appears in the ranked table. Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, right-drag to rotate.

Prefer a table?

Switch to the ranked-table view for a screen-reader-friendly, sortable list of every region by value — the authoritative, fully accessible version of the same data.

Reported election-claim activity

Pick a metric, then select a region to drill in. Nothing here is a judgment — only where claims were filed.

Source: claims filed on The Unredacted Project, aggregated by region. Per-capita uses public population estimates; where population is unavailable the map notes a fallback. This visualization is non-partisan and descriptive.
